A keepsake for more than the wedding day

A venue illustration works for more than one moment:

  • An engagement gift, before the day itself.
  • A wedding-day gift for the couple.
  • A first anniversary gift — the traditional gift is paper.
  • A thank-you for the parents who hosted.
  • Artwork to reuse on your save-the-dates and invitations.

The style your venue would be painted in

I haven't painted your venue yet — that's rather the point. Every commission starts from your photos. But this is the ink-and-wash style it would be painted in, on paintings of Kent places you might recognise:

Loose washes over precise ink line — the buildings accurate enough that you can name the place at a glance, the colour soft enough to live on a wall for the next forty years.

What you receive

An original illustration in ink and wash or watercolour, on quality paper. Size and paper options to suit the piece — tell me what you have in mind. You will see a digital proof before anything is posted. Most illustrations take about two weeks from your photos, and a 50% deposit books your slot.
